We’ve been a little quiet here at Yeigo. But that’s all about to change. A lot of things have been happening in the background and we are now ready to release our exciting new updates to Yeigo.
Yeigo 2.2 is now available! With this update, many bugs and quirks have been fixed, and audio quality is better than ever and we have added some interesting things on the unified communications side of the application (Yepp, more instant messaging networks!)
For all of you that have been using Yeigo lite, thanks for all your input. We are now proud to release our new Java client. This client was designed and written from scratch. The design of this new interface is meant to be simple, quick and easy to use, with a touch of wowness.
All our versions now feature Skype, Facebook and QQ chat, so you can chat with your online Skype, Facebook and QQ friends anywhere using Yeigo. We also included chat states to notify you when your friends are writing a message to you (java client only, but based on your feedback we will add them to the rest).
We hope you are as excited about these new version of Yeigo as we are. To experience Yeigo, please visit www.getyeigo.com from your mobile, or head to the yeigo website www.yeigo.com.

dudes, well done. I’m not keen to try the calling side again right now, but the IM is sweet! Nice having Facebook chat there… I reckon on my N82, yeigo is the best IM client around (and I’ve tried them all), now to get your calling up there… and more people to call for free, i guess
PS. perhaps you need to give someone a call to update ur site

..hats off! But unfortunately.. I think i found a bug
i added my fb account details, the contact list was populated, i chatted n it was all good till i logged off. When i started the application the next time all Facebook contacts were gone except the Gtalk n Yeigo ones, I tried to re add the Facebook account but it doesn’t seem to add. What could be wrong im using the Nokia N70.

If there is one thing we love more than anything else, its people telling us what they think would be great in the app. We are looking into making it as easy as possible to spread Yeigo, so stay tuned

Yeigo failed to install on my Blackberry 8310. So I installed it on my SonyEricsson K800i, but I can’t call out. When making a call it goes thru the motions and stops after: Please wait while Yeigo connects you.
